The majority of the car is in decent working order, but there are few items that need to be addressed. Among these early fixes are the center caps on the rims, and the quarter panel “Mustang” script, and the Hydraulic cylinders for the convertible top.
The rims that came on the car are AMERICAN RACING AUTHENTIC HOT ROD VN515 TORQ THRUST II 1 PC. They’re in pretty good shape, but the center caps were corroded too far to polish. Knew the right product to order, because when I took one off to try to save it, I found this sticker:
So, we made the order with Summit Racing, and when they arrived (second-day delivery!) Connor got to the installation. Started with the center caps.
Once those were put on, we moved to the script on the passenger quarter panel.
